Multi-Year Extension Furthers Constellation’s Long-Standing Relationship with Furyk Foundation, Keeps PGA TOUR Champions Event in Jacksonville
Jacksonville, Florida – Officials from Constellation, the Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation and PGA TOUR Championstoday announced a multi-year extension of Constellation as the title sponsor of the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS. Thisextension ensures the PGA TOUR Champions event will remain in Jacksonville. The announcement was made at a press conference at Timuquana Country Club, where this year’s tournament will be contested, with the first roundbeginning tomorrow, October 4.
“We are so excited to continue hosting the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS tournament in Northeast Florida, which we have proudly called home for over 25 years,” said Jim and Tabitha Furyk. “We’ve had an amazing partnership withConstellation and we are grateful for their continued support of our event, our Foundation, and the Jacksonville community. We look forward to many more years of bringing PGA TOUR Champions golf to fans, along with music, food and fun – allwhile making a positive impact in Jacksonville and beyond.”
Since the inaugural Constellation FUYRK & FRIENDS in 2021, the tournament has generated more than $3.5 million for Northeast Florida Charities, through the Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation.
This extension furthers a long-standing relationship between Jim and Tabitha Furyk and Constellation, dating back to an annual invitational charity event that ran for over 11 years, generating more than $1 million for the Boys & Girls Clubs ofPhiladelphia. Additionally, Constellation now will serve as title sponsor on PGA TOUR Champions for nearly 20 years, following their title sponsorship of the Senior PLAYERS Championship from 2007-2018.

Now in its fourth year, the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS tournament has established itself as a premier event on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule, having won the Champions Tour’s most recent President’s Award, given annuallyto the top tournament of the year. In 2022, the tournament won the Players Award, having been voted by PGA TOUR Champions players as their favorite event.

Brett Quigley – winner of the 2023 Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS – looks to defend his title as PGA TOUR Champions nears the end of the regular season. Other notable names in the field are World Golf Hall of Famers Fred Couples, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Vijay Singh, along with Jacksonville native and PGA TOUR star David Duval, and more.
