New Leadership Appointments Strengthen Cornerstone Club’s Commitment to Exceptional Member Experiences and Continued Growth
MONTROSE, CO. – Cornerstone Club, a 4,800-acre, four-season private club community owned by Reef Capital Partners where championship golf, unspoiled natural beauty, and an active outdoor lifestyle converge, officially announces the promotion of Jason Stroehlein to Sales Director and appointment of Ben Powers as Director of Membership Sales. Together, the two leaders bring decades of private club, hospitality, and community expertise as Cornerstone enters its next phase of growth.
Stroehlein has been an integral part of Cornerstone Club for nearly two decades. After earning a degree in Turfgrass Management from Southern Illinois University, he built his career at premier private clubs across Colorado before joining Cornerstone in 2006 as Director of Agronomy. In that role, he played an instrumental part in shaping, maintaining, and elevating the club’s Matt Dusenberry-designed 18-hole championship golf course. As Sales Director, Stroehlein will draw on his deep knowledge of the property, longstanding relationships with members, and understanding of the Cornerstone lifestyle to lead membership and real estate sales while supporting the continued growth and evolution of the community.
Powers joins Cornerstone Club with more than two decades of hospitality experience spanning luxury resorts and boutique properties across Arizona and Colorado, recently serving as the Director of Sales for Aparium Hotel Group in Denver and Senior Group Sales Manager for Sage Hospitality’s Halcyon hotel. In his new role as Director of Membership Sales, he will focus on building relationships with prospective members and delivering the personalized service and exceptional experiences that define the Cornerstone Club community.
