Canadian Rockies Golf: A consortium of six golf properties in western Alberta, Canada, will open its 2013 golf season on April 26.

McConnell Golf: Reports that a number of its owned courses made the North Carolina Golf Panel’s 2013 listing – Old North State Club at Badin Lake (No. 3), Raleigh Country Club (No. 20), Sedgefield Country Club’s Ross Course in Greensboro (No. 21) and Treyburn Country Club in Durham (No. 27). Also, Sedgefield’s Pete Dye course ranked No. 57 and the TPC at Wakefield Plantation ranked No. 90.

Outer Banks, N.C.: Reports that three of its golf courses, Currituck Club, Kilmarlic Golf Club and Nags Head Golf Links, are ranked Nos. 71, 84 and 98 in the North Carolina Golf Panel’s 2013 Top 100 List.

Heron Point / Hilton Head, S.C.: Sea Pines Resort amenity course, designed by Pete Dye, has been named the 2013 Course of the Year by the Lowcountry Golf Course Owners Association.
