Robert Trent Jones II: Breaks ground on extensive renovations to the Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach, Calif. When complete, the renovation will have cut the area of irrigated turf by 14.5 acres, adjusted par to 71 and lengthened the course from 6,857 to more than 7,000 yards.Poppy Hills will re-open for play in spring 2014.
