Mission Hills Hainan: To host the 56th Omega Mission Hills World Cup, Nov. 24-27. Fifty-six players from 28 countries will compete for the largest purse in Asian golf – the winning team receiving $2.4 million.

Forest Creek: North and South courses are ranked among Golfweek’s Top 50 Best Residential Golf Courses for 2012. The Forest Creek North Course was ranked 36th, the South Course was ranked 50th. Forest Creek, located in Pinehurst, N.C., is the only residential community to have two courses ranked.

Dorado Beach Resort and Club: East Course is open for play after undergoing a complete 18-month renovation project of all 18 holes. The restoration of the original Robert Trent Jones Sr. design was overseen by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects, Caribbean Property Group and KemperSports.

Old York Country Club: Becomes a member of the Talamore Family of Clubs. Members of the Chesterfield, N.J., club now have playing privileges at four other Talamore country club facilities in Ambler and Downingtown, Pa., and Pinehurst, N.C.

The Links at Stono Ferry: Named the 2011 Charleston Area Golf Course of the Year by the Charleston Golf Course Owners Association and the 2011 State of South Carolina Golf Course of the Year by the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association. The Hollywood, S.C., course is also being considered for the National Golf Course Owners Association’s national course of the year honor.

Billy Casper Golf: Announces that Emerald Greens Golf Resort and Country Club in Tampa, Fla., will host an open-house weekend Nov. 19-20. The private club will host prospective members to enjoy its various amenities.

Sea Pines Resort: To host The Golfe’s 2011 Meeting Masters Championship, Nov. 30-Dec. 4 in Hilton Head, S.C.
