GolfOrlando reports that three of its courses were named among the nation’s top 50 courses in Golf World‘s inaugural “Readers’ Choice Awards” – Orange County National (No. 8), Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club (No. 17) and Celebration Golf Club (No. 24).

The Mississippi Development Authority Division of Tourism announces that three state courses have been voted onto the Golfweek‘s 2008 “Top 100 Resort Courses” list — Fallen Oak Golf Club in Biloxi (No. 22), Grand Bear Golf Club in Saucier (No. 33), Dancing Rabbit Golf Club‘s Azaleas Course in Philadelphia (No. 67).

Circling Raven Golf Club, an amenity of Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort and Hotel in Worley, Idaho, ranks No. 58 in Golfweek‘s “Top 100 Resort Golf Courses” in America.

Port Royal Golf Course in Bermuda has been named the site for the 2009 and 2010 PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
