Falcon Fire Golf Club: The Rees Jones Signature Course, located in Kissimmee, FL., completes a renovation that included resurfacing greens with TifEagle, reshaping bunkers and installing an improved greens irrigation and drainage system. Also, Steve Schaller is named the club’s general manager.

Schmidt-Curley: Dragon Valley, the course architectural firm’s second design on China’s Hainan Island, announces that its front nine will open for play in February. The back nine opened in November.

Hunter’s Creek Golf Club: The Orlando, FL, course unveils its 2010 Creek Card, which is currently on sale at $49 for Florida residents.

Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club: JSH Time acquires the 36-hole facility located in Arizona. “The new ownership of Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club brings stability and long term direction for this spectacular facility,” said Doc Belitz, vice president of operations for OB Sports Golf Management.

Jacobson Golf Course Design: Architect opens Moon Course at Lion Lake Resort located northwest of Guangzhou, China. It’s Jacobson’s first 18-hole course in China.

Sweetgrass Golf Club: The Harris, MI, course is among Golf Digest magazine’s “America’s Best New Courses 2009” list.

Red Ledges: The course, which is part of a four-season recreational community in Heber Valley, UT, is named the No. 1 “Best New Private Golf Course” in 2009 by Golf Magazine.

Sweetgrass Golf Club: The Harris, MI, course is among Golf Digest magazine’s “America’s Best New Courses 2009” list.

Lake of Isles: The North Course, a Rees Jones design in North Stonington, CT, is ranked No. 12 in Golfweek’s 2009 “Best Casino Course List.” This is Lake of Isles fourth appearance on the list.

French Lick Resort: The Pete Dye course earns Golf Magazine’s “Best New Course of the Year.” This comes after Golf Digest selected the course at the “Best New Public Course” in the United States.

The six courses are Fallen Oak Golf Club (No. 2), Dancing Rabbit Golf Club’s Azaleas Course (No. 14), Grand Bear Golf Club (No. 22), The Bridges Golf Club (No. 27), The Preserve Golf Club (No. 32) and Dancing Rabbit Golf Club’s Oaks Course (No. 35).
