Indian Spring Country Club in Marlton, N.J., achieves Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary designation for its high standards protecting the environment and preserving the natural heritage of golf. St Andrews Links green fees 2010

St. Andrews Links Trust announces that green fees for its courses in St. Andrews, Scotland, will be held at the same rate for 2010. The high season green fee for the Old Course will remain at £130 and the New and Jubilee courses at £65. The Eden will be £40, the Strathtyrum £25 and the Balgove £12. The Castle Course will be £120.

Architect Tom Doak‘s Renaissance Golf Design prepares for its first design in Asia. The course, to be built on the resort island of Hainan, has a temporary working title of “The Island Club” and construction is scheduled to start late this fall. The opening is projected for 2010.
