OB Sports reports that 19 golf clubs under its management will participate in Patriot Golf Day, Sept. 4-7. Golfers will be asked to add an extra dollar to their greens fees to fund Folds of Honor scholarships.

Golf Magazine ranks three Tom Doak course designs among the top five of its 50 greatest golf course in the past 50 years ranking. The Doak courses honored are Pacific Dunes in Bandon, Ore. (No. 2); Cape Kidnappers, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand (No. 4); and Barnbougle Dunes, Bridport, Australia (No. 5).

St. Andrews Links Trust announces that green fees for its courses in St. Andrews, Scotland, will be held at the same rate for 2010. The high season green fee for the Old Course will remain at £130 and the New and Jubilee courses at £65. The Eden will be £40, the Strathtyrum £25 and the Balgove £12. The Castle Course will be £120.
