Ohio's Historic Canterbury Golf Club Named The Site Of The 2009 Senior PGA Championship

Canterbury Golf Club, located in Beachwood, Ohio, and the host of virtually all significant U.S. men’s championships since 1932, has been selected as the site of the 70th Senior PGA Championship in 2009.

Five Mississippi Courses Voted "2008 Golfweek America's Best Courses You Can Play" by State

The Mississippi Development Authority Division of Tourism announces that five courses in the state have been voted onto Golfweek‘s 2008 America’s Best Courses You Can Play state list, which was published in the March 8 edition. The five courses are Fallen Oak Golf Club, Grand Bear Golf Club, Dancing Rabbit Golf Club (Azaleas and Oaks courses) and Shell Landing Golf Club.

Golfweek Ranks Black Sheep Among America’s Best 100 Modern Golf Courses

For the fourth consecutive year, Black Sheep Golf Club in Sugar Grove, Ill., is ranked among Golfweek‘s America’s Best 100 Modern Courses, which are included in the March 8 issue. The magazine ranks Black Sheep 56th, with "modern" defined as any course built after 1960. The private club opened in 2002.
