Leishman To Wear Custom LaGrange Golf Shoes At PGA Championship
Callaway staff professional, Marc Leishman, will be sporting new kicks this week at the PGA Championship. Leishman will be wearing a custom pair of LaGrange golf shoes with his Begin Again Foundation on the tongue and his children’s names on the heel collar.
The Begin Again Foundation was inspired after Leishman’s wife Audrey’s near-death experience in April 2015. The foundation works to bring life’s most pressing needs to families experiencing medical and life crises. The foundation is very active assisting families in Leishman’s local community of Virginia Beach. On the national level they offer grants and resources to Sepsis, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and Toxic Shock Syndrome survivors.
On the PGA TOUR in 2018, Leishman has six top-ten finishes, including a pair of second place finishes and is currently ranked No. 20 in the FedExCup. Leishman will tee off on Thursday at 1:04 p.m. for the first round of the PGA Championship at Bellerive C.C. in St. Louis, Mo.
