It was my 16th birthday.
And like most 16-year-olds, I wanted a car. But I didn’t get one.
Instead, Daphne, my Mum, helped me start a small business. To buy myself a car.
So in 1979, my Mum and I hit the streets. To sell hand puppets.
Today, I still run that small business. Daphne’s Headcovers.
Daphne is no longer with me. She passed 27 years ago. But our headcovers make me think of her every day.
We still use her original design for our best-selling Tiger.
