Daphne’s Headcovers, creator of Tiger Wood’s tiger, celebrates his monumental win at the Masters.
Phoenix, Arizona – The team at Daphne’s Headcovers, the original animal headcover company, was glued to the television as they witnessed Tiger Woods and their beloved tiger headcover win the 2019 Master’s golf tournament. Their tiger, affectionately known to all by the name of Frank, has been with Woods every step of the way.
“I can’t express how excited and happy I am for Tiger and his 5th green jacket” exclaimed Jane Spicer, CEO of Daphne’s Headcovers. “It’s an incredible honor for us to have created Tiger’s headcover and we’ve certainly been cheering for him over the years. I spent the week of the Master’s either holding my breath or cheering wildly ( I will need to apologize to all my neighbors). Tearing up as he won made it hard to see the TV screen as I celebrated, danced and cried with joy for Tiger! The Woods family has been lovely to work with and seeing the joy on the faces of Tiger and his mom tugged at my heart!”
Spicer concluded, “As Frank’s ‘mom’ I think our beloved orange and black striped friend would have roared an emotional ‘well done boss!’ to Tiger.”
In the 40th year since their first headcover was sold, Daphne’s Headcovers are now available in more than 80 countries internationally, and they’ve cheered for Woods throughout his career.
