PGA TOUR PLAYOFFS BEGIN WITH DECISIVE VICTORY FOR CLEATED FOOTWEAR
29 of the top 34 finishers compete in replaceable cleats
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., August 27, 2018 – The winner of The Northern Trust Open, the opener of the PGA TOUR’s 2018 FedEx Cup Playoffs, sailed to a four-stroke victory. The now top-ranked player in the playoffs led a group of 29 of the top 34 finishers in New Jersey who were wearing footwear featuring replaceable cleat technology.
