(LOS ANGELES, Calif.) – Noteefy, the technology company powering golf’s No. 1 tee time waitlist notification program, will be utilized at Destination Kohler Resort’s four award-winning golf courses about one hour north of Milwaukee, Wisc.
Destination Kohler ushered in a new era for Wisconsin golf when it hosted the 1998 and 2012 U.S. Women’s Open at Blackwolf Run, along with the 2004, 2010 and 2015 PGA Championships at Whistling Straits. The Straits Course was the site of the Ryder Cup in 2021, the first public venue to host the biennial matches since 1991.
Through Noteefy, golfers desiring tee times already taken by others at Whistling Straits (The Straits and The Irish courses) and Blackwolf Run (The River and Meadow Valleys courses), receive real-time text and e-mail alerts when those slots open due to cancellation or availability releases. Golfers then book tee times online per the normal process.
“With high demand to play Destination Kohler courses, Noteefy’s automated system now gives golfers the chance to book tee times in effectively real-time without the hassle of constantly checking online or calling our golf shops, “says Mike O’Reilly, General Manager of Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run. “We look forward to seeing the impact of Noteefy on our portfolio revenue and guest experiences.”
The Noteefy booking assistant – often referred to as the OpenTable and Resy automation product for golf – is customized to Destination Kohler courses’ branding and integrates directly on top of each POS tee sheet seamlessly.
“Destination Kohler represents one of the world’s best collections of golf courses and associated amenities,” says Jake Gordon, Founder and CEO of Noteefy. “We are honored to help make it easier and more accessible for golfers to reserve their desired times at these special properties.”
The partnership with Destination Kohler adds to Noteefy’s momentum. In recent months, KemperSports, Landscapes Golf Management, PGA TOUR’s TPC Network, Bobby Jones Links, CourseCo, Touchstone Golf and other multi-course operators deployed Noteefy for their daily-fee and resort courses. Individual courses are also utilizing Noteefy in droves.
Noteefy exists to help solve the problem of last-minute cancelations in hospitality – namely daily- fee and resort golf. Research shows more than 20% of online tee times are cancelled and go unfilled, leaving up to $50,000 in lost annual revenue on average. Operators leveraging Noteefy report six-figure revenue increases while relieving golfers’ frustrations previously and re-allocating staff to higher and better use duties.

Many courses report six-figure revenue gains from tee times that would have otherwise perished due to golfer cancellations.
