Conceived as “an oasis in the desert,” the Legacy Course transports golfers from the open desert landscape of southern Baja into a secluded, lush environment that is exceptionally rare in a coastal desert region — the result of a level of vision, ambition, and investment rarely attempted anywhere in the world.
At the heart of the Legacy Course is the most extensive array of water features ever designed into a golf course in Mexico. Crafted by world-renowned designers Cook and Solis, the course is interwoven with five lakes connected by a network of flowing streams and punctuated by multiple cascades and waterfalls. The features serve as both strategic hazards demanding precision and as the serene, resort-like soul of the property.
Framing the holes is lush, tropical landscaping of remarkable density, including thousands of trees and an array of colorful understory and ground cover planted to immerse players in greenery and transform the desert terrain into a living garden.
