Dormy House Showcases Affordable Workforce Housing Solutions at Booth #2285; Founder Matt Welter Available for Interviews and Networking
Valparaiso, Indiana – Dormy House, an affordable and high-quality workforce housing solution for the golf industry, is making its first appearance at the 2025 PGA Merchandise Show at Booth #2285. Founder and Owner Matt Welter will be onsite to meet with attendees and discuss the topic of workforce housing and potential solutions to an industry-wide challenge.
Dormy House was created to solve the lack of diverse, affordable housing options for employees of clubs and resorts, especially those in rural, remote destinations. Affordable housing for hospitality staff is one of the biggest challenges that resort owners and operators face in attracting and retaining talent. With nationwide labor and housing shortages, many employees are priced out of nearby markets where they work and face lengthy commutes.
Dormy House aims to solve those challenges by providing a packaged and scalable housing model that requires minimal space. One Dormy House building can sit on just a half acre of land and provide 32 beds. Everything from the selection of the site to the floor plan, to the height and size of the building and the materials and finishes selected in the development process are carefully considered to ensure that the build is both cost effective and efficient to serve a very specific resident.
“The PGA Merchandise Show brings together talented leaders in the industry with a wide variety of experiences and networks,” said Welter. “We look forward to contributing to this year’s event to build connections and bring solutions to workforce housing and employment challenges that our industry is facing. We welcome club and resort owners and operators to our booth to learn more about our capabilities and share their experiences with us.”
Dormy House can provide quality, move-in ready accommodations at an affordable price in as little as 12 months. Its team works with clients in a variety of ways, including servicing projects as the sole developer and partner or developing and funding projects on behalf of owners. Dormy House is also available for consulting services and licensing projects as needed.
