Experienced Reps Assembled To Grow Golf Shoes Sales Across The U.S.
Duca del Cosma, the fashionable Italian golf brand adding something different to the shoe sector, has further strengthened its sales team across North America to take its U.S. complement of experienced representatives up to ten.
It follows the earlier appointments of John Singleton (South Florida), Scott Brendle (Central California & Nevada) and Robb Spencer (Kentucky & Tennessee) as the premium brand builds on its recent entry into the world’s biggest golf market. New appointments in Canada are about to be confirmed too.
“I’m delighted to have assembled such a team of highly experienced reps to get behind the Duca del Cosma brand,” said Steve Gray, VP Sales for North America. “I’m sure that this group of well-connected individuals will increase sales of Duca del Cosma golf shoes, as our presence in the U.S. golf market gains some significant momentum.”
Tom Franke, an Orlando-based sales rep with golf industry experience spanning more than 20 years, joins the Duca del Cosma US sales team to cover Central and North Florida. Tom is also currently associated with Bushnell Golf and Saintnine having previously represented brands such as Cleveland/Srixon and Callaway. “When I first saw Duca del Cosma shoes, I loved their stunning appearance and being sourced from top-notch materials and forged into energetic Italian designs, the shoes offer something entirely new to the U.S. market”, he said.
Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota are covered for the Duca del Cosma brand by the Chicago-based rep Tracy Lick. Having worked 20 years in the golf business, 15 of which with Ralph Lauren, he also represents Bushnell Golf, 2undr and Kentwool. “I was eager to join the brand because Duca del Cosma introduces awesome lifestyle and golf models that combine style with comfort,” said Tracy.
Covering the Southern States of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arizona is Joe Puskarich, based in San Antonio. “The compelling leather shoes and appealing brand initiatives like the Mother’s Day campaign filled me with excitement”, said Joe, who is also involved with other leading golf brands such as Ben Hogan CBD, J. Lindeberg Sportswear and Court Women’s Apparel.
Tony Smith joins the team to cover Southern California. Since 2010, Tony has represented established brands such as Bushnell, Pukka and Camelbak. He was also National Sales Manager for Antigua for over 20 years. “The Duca del Cosma brand really impressed me with its incredibly versatile collections and beautifully styled shoes”, he said.
Operating in North and South Carolina is David Day, who has enjoyed a career in the golf business spanning three decades. “When I received my first pair of sample shoes from Duca del Cosma I was hooked by their brilliant colour options”, he said. David also represents RZN, Replay, Premium Practice, Dorfman Pacific Headwear, Bald Head Blues Apparel, JCR Golf Bags and Bionic Gloves.
Other appointments see Sacramento-based Steve Peloquin assume coverage for the brand in North California and North Nevada, while Penny Holden in Pittsburgh is handling sales opportunities in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Duca del Cosma launched its SS20 range of both the men’s and women’s golf shoes in March. The men’s series is led by the classic ELDORADO soft spike shoe, the waterproof BELAIR model, the CALIFORNIA sneaker and the sporty FLORIDA golf shoe. Among the highlights of women’s collection are the waterproof KUBANA and VOGUE models, alongside the casual FESTIVA line.
Two other models – the men’s LA SPEZIA and women’s FESTIVA – were selected by Golf Digest for its ‘Best Golf Shoes of 2020’ guide.
