DUCA DEL COSMA EXPANDS US SALES TEAM
-New reps join to build Italian fashion brand sales-
Duca del Cosma, the Italian fashion brand that recently moved into the US market with its range of premium golf footwear, has expanded its sales team with the appointment of three experienced representatives in target States.
John Singleton, a golf sales rep since 2001 and an independent for the past decade, has joined the Duca del Cosma US team to cover the South Florida region. Having previous experience of representing another European brand in the region – Lacoste Golf – he is also currently associated with Bald Head Blues apparel, Glen Echo Sport and Dorfman-Pacific Headwear.
“I fell in love with Duca when I watched the video of how these shoes are made,” said John. “I was extremely impressed and knew I had to have them in my lineup. Having received my samples, I can see that this is quality footwear at its best!”
Robb Spencer, who covers Kentucky and Tennessee, saw the full Duca range at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando earlier this year and was immediately enamored with the brand.
“The Duca booth was one of the star attractions at the PGA Show for me and I was knocked out by the awesome quality and styling of the shoes,” said Robb.
A sales rep for almost 30 years after working at Pro Golf in Charlotte, NC, as well as Mizuno USA, he moved from Atlanta to Louisville to sell established brands like Mizuno and Antigua. He now includes Bushnell/Camelbak, Ahead and Nexbelt among his product portfolio.
Covering the central California and Las Vegas territory is Scott Brendle, a former golf professional previously based in Arizona.
A company sales rep with Antigua Sportswear, Scott moved to Seal Beach, CA in 1998 as an independent salesman. He has been the Bushnell Golf representative in his area for 20 years and also represents Club Glove USA and Camelback Hydration Gear. Other premium brands he has sold include Zero Restriction and Tommy Hilfiger.
“I became interested in representing the Duca brand when I saw the unique Italian designs, plus the quality of the materials and craftsmanship involved in making these stunning shoes that offer something new to the US market,” said Scott.
According to Steve Gray, VP Sales for North America, he is actively looking to add to his sales team with a series of other appointments in key golfing States golf markets. “This group of appointments is just the start in our Duca journey in the US and I’m expecting to make more announcements about more experienced sales reps joining us in the weeks ahead,” he said.
Duca del Cosma operates offices and a showroom in North Palm Beach FL, plus a dedicated distribution facility in Atlanta GA. It also sells its distinctive full grain leather golf shoes in more than 30 countries around the world.
