Experienced hospitality leader turns heads of golf industry with work in food and beverage concept development, operational strategy, brand development and foodservice design
Newton, Mass. – Ed Doyle, President of RealFood, a premier strategy and design advisory firm serving the global hospitality industry, has been named “Adviser of the Year” by Golf Inc. magazine. This prestigious award recognizes individuals in the golf industry who went above and beyond during one of golf’s most pressing years to help operators grow their businesses, making direct impact on revenue, quality and profitability. Winners were selected based on the nominations of industry professionals. Doyle and his fellow Top Adviser recipients are featured in the summer issue of Golf Inc. magazine.
“I am humbled to be named to this list for 2021, especially after the year we’ve had as a food and beverage industry,” remarked Ed Doyle. “To be recognized as a top adviser by the gold standard in publications and by my peers is an amazing honor. At RealFood, we are driven by our belief in the importance of the member and guest experience and are committed to our clients achieving their vision of success; that vision of success swiftly changed this past year, and we were able to continue to serve our clients well. This recognition is most certainly an honor for the entire RealFood team and it shines light on our willingness to see the opportunities in a year clouded by many, many challenges.”
A dynamic and charismatic leader, Doyle is the original founder of RealFood. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he brings an extensive resume of expertise in kitchens and foodservice operations to the broad portfolio of clients that RealFood serves, leveraging his ability to understand and articulate vision, identify opportunities and implement highly effective hospitality designs and solutions.
Doyle and his team have been serving clients and partners in a consultancy capacity since 1996. In 2019, RealFood joined the Troon® family of brands, opening up new opportunities for the RealFood team to share their vast food and beverage expertise with the golf industry.
“Troon is so proud of Ed and his team, and this recognition by Golf Inc.,” said Troon President and CEO Tim Schantz. “Ed’s efforts and reputation in the food and beverage world are well known, and admired. We’re lucky to have him as an important part of our company, helping Troon-affiliated facilities continually improve their food and beverage experience for our owners, members and guests.”
