Alexandria, VA – The Club Foundation is pleased to announce the 2022 recipients of the Student Chapter Grant. This annual grant supports the education of students studying to pursue careers in the club industry – tying directly to the mission of The Club Foundation. Each Chapter will receive a complimentary student registration to the 2023 CMAA World Conference and Business Expo for the Chapter President (or their representative) and a matching-funds grant to assist with related travel expenses.
The 2022 recipients are the CMAA Student Chapters at the following institutions:
- Fairleigh Dickinson University (Teaneck, NJ)
- Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Indiana, PA)
- Kent State University (Youngstown, OH)
- Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI)
- Niagara University (Niagara University, NY)
- University of Houston (Houston, TX)
- University of Massachusetts (Amherst, MA)
- Western Carolina University (Cullowhee, NC)
“The first scholarship awarded by The Club Foundation was focused on students who were learning about the club industry at institutions around the nation,” said The Club Foundation’s and CMAA’s President and CEO Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE. “Providing substantial educational and networking opportunities for the next generation of leaders in our industry remains a priority today. We look forward to sharing career-building experiences with these Student Chapters in Orlando, FL, at the 2023 World Conference and Club Business Expo.”
