DULUTH, GA – The Mitsubishi Electric Classic by Vensure will host its annual Executive Women’s Day brought to you by Northside Hospital on April 22, 2024, as part of its slate of programming for the PGA TOUR Champions event.
Celebrating the power and accomplishments of metro Atlanta women, Executive Women’s Day serves as the kick-off to the tournament week schedule. The event is designed to engage female executives and unify them over common interests in career development, networking opportunities, and business innovation.
This year, Executive Women’s Day will focus on how to cultivate a sustainable legacy, relying on engaging conversations and shared experiences to better understand how intentional decision-making, coupled with resiliency and innovative thinking, can shape impactful legacies. Attendees for the discussion will take away practical strategies on how to make their mark for future generations.
“We are excited to begin tournament week with our annual celebration of women at Executive Women’s Day brought to you by Northside Hospital,” said senior tournament director Ashley Hamilton. “There is no better way to predict the future than to create it and the ladies in attendance are doing just that. We look to further empower them to think about how they can meet the needs of the present without compromising the future.”
Sara Irvani, the CEO of Okabashi, will deliver the keynote conversation. Irvani is a third-generation shoemaker and has advanced Okabashi’s commitment to stewardship and sustainability, including its closed-loop manufacturing system that recycles shoes and relies on a proprietary material that is made in the United States. The company was founded in 1984, and it has produced and sold more than 35 million pairs of shoes in Buford, Ga. Christi McGee, Chief Operating Officer of Circular Solutions Advisors will serve as the moderator for the keynote conversation.
The day’s Power Panel presented by Luckie features a trio of influential and impactful female business leaders in Tricia Breeger, president & CEO of Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc., Alejandra Cardenas Armas, administrative director of Talpa Supermercado, and Stephanie Naman, the senior vice president and executive creative director of Luckie. The panel will be moderated by Amanda Pearch, principal and CEO of Business RadioX ®.
Prior to the keynote address and panel discussion, select attendees will have the opportunity to take part in the second annual GIRLSGOTDRIVE™ 9-Hole Scramble presented by PGA TOUR Superstore. During the scramble, guests will compete in teams and receive hands-on instruction from local PGA of America professionals.
Both the GIRLSGOTDRIVE™ 9-Hole Scramble presented by PGA TOUR Superstore and Executive Women’s Day brought to you by Northside Hospital will be held at TPC Sugarloaf.
