Explore Branson Travel Destination Offers Growing Number of Golf and Hospitality Options

Spectrum of Price Points, Choices Never Better as Courses, Lodging and Restaurants Multiply, Diversity

New golf courses, lodging venues, and an eclectic array of eateries make the Branson area of southwest Missouri a place where everyone’s tastes and preferences are welcomed and satisfied.

Lodging

Thousand Hills Golf Resort, Big Cedar Lodge, and Branson Hills exemplify the wealth of new and varied accommodation selections available, providing traveling golfers an array of lodging alternatives.

Thousand Hills’ recently developed seven-bedroom lodges that include six private bedrooms, one bunk room, seven bathrooms, a kitchen, and ample outdoor space. Decorated with upscale furnishings, appliances and electronics, they’re ideal for golf groups, business events, and large family gatherings. They include access to indoor and outdoor pools, an exercise facility, kids play area and the golf course, as do several other accommodation options at the popular resort.

Big Cedar’s new glamping units – often referred to as luxury camping – offer unforgettable overnight experiences complementing its four upscale golf courses (including brand-new Ozarks National that opens to public play on April 29). Units include king canopy bed, chandelier, table and chairs, small refrigerator and coffee maker, indoor wood stove, and private bathroom with shower. Outdoor living space at the beautiful hideaways include a front deck, a private stone room in the back, privacy fence, fire pit, outdoor shower and galvanized tub. These units join many other overnight room choices at Big Cedar – from hotels to lakeside luxury cabins, and more.

Branson Hills has three choices of accommodations on property and adjacent to its top-rated golf course. The Hampton Inn Branson Hills is ideal for those who prefer a traditional hotel room and stay, while couples and groups often choose the Golf Villas or Eagle Bunker luxury condos.

Two Hiltons – the Promenade and Convention Center – are popular hotels that bookend Branson Landing, the downtown shopping, dining, and entertainment complex overlooking the scenic boardwalk along the 1.5-mile Taneycomo lakefront.

Eateries

From old-fashioned diners and scrumptious BBQ joints, to farm-to-table and downtown waterfront dining, Branson restaurants abound. There’s truly something for everyone, including convenient family friendly places, upscale Mexican cuisine restaurants, award-winning steak houses, and much more. LedgeStone, The Pointe at Pointe Royale, Branson Hills and Big Cedar golf clubs join the culinary cornucopia, with offerings ranging from standard grill fare, to full-service restaurants. Big Cedar’s new Ozarks National offers complementary food and beverages (except alcohol) as part of the course green fees, including hot dogs, snacks, fruit cups and frozen custard.
