The July edition of ASIAN GOLF is out!
With slightly more than four months to go before the staging of the 2018 Asia Pacific Golf Summit (APGS) 2018, ASIAN GOLF takes an indepth look at how this world class event is shaping up.
APGS 2018 will mark the twelfth staging of the Asia Pacific’s most important and longest running summit on the business of golf. The summit will be staged in Bangkok at the brand new 5-star Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel.
A stellar line-up of speakers is being assembled for the event which will be headlined by golf legend Barney Adams, the spunky golf equipment designer and manufacturer who gave the world of golf ADAMS GOLF and the famous “Tight Lies” fairway woods.
This will be Barney’s first visit to Asia and it will be a great opportunity for the Continent to hear from the man who has devoted a good part of his life in trying to improve the playing experience of the game for millions of golfers around the world.
Another major development that this edition covers is the mega two-billion dollar tie-up between the PGA Tour and Discovery. This is a monumental development for golf as this initiative will deliver the PGA Tour experience to a global audience, hence heralding the way for the globalisation of the game of golf.
