To have been around for 14 years and to have staged an international conference on the business of golf in each of these years is quite a record by any standard. This is precisely what the Asia Pacific Golf Summit (APGS) has managed to notch up since it was launched in 2007 in Singapore.
Since then, it has been staged every year with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the global lockdown caused by the pandemic.
Over this period, more than 350 international speakers have spoken at the APGS event which has been attended by over 7000 delegates. APGS has been held in Singapore, China, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, India and Vietnam and for 2022, it returns to the Quang Nam Province, in Central Vietnam.
More than 20 world class speakers have committed to speak at APGS 2022 headlined by industry stalwarts like David Abeles, President and CEO of TaylorMade Golf, Tim Clarke, President and CEO of Wilson Golf, Phil Cotton, CEO of the Nicklaus Companies and more.
The September edition of ASIAN GOLF spotlights APGS 2022 which serves as a dynamic pick-me-up-shot for the golf industry as it comes out of an almost three-year shutdown.
APGS 2022 will be staged at the Grand Ballroom of the Hoiana Resort & Golf from November 1 – 3.
Besides APGS 2022, there is also extensive news on new products and an interview with Tim Clarke of Wilson Golf, the oldest brand in golf equipment – a whole 108 years old!
