Former Club Car and Visage sales leader brings more than 30 years of golf industry experience and an extensive network of course, operator, and industry relationships
DALLAS, Texas — ezLocator, a leading provider of golf course hole location management and precision course setup technology, today announced the appointment of James “Hop” Hoppenrath as Senior Sales Associate.
Hoppenrath joins ezLocator with more than 30 years of experience in the golf industry, spanning sales, technology, business development, strategic partnerships, and golf course ownership.
Most recently, Hoppenrath served as Connectivity Sales Manager for Club Car, representing Visage GPS and connected technology solutions across eight Western U.S. states and Western Canada. During nearly 18 years with Visage and Club Car, he developed a strong record of sales performance while building trusted relationships with golf course owners, operators, management companies, resorts, municipalities, private clubs, and industry partners.

Earlier in his career, Hoppenrath was a founding partner of Golf Trust of America, a publicly traded real estate investment trust that grew to become the third-largest owner of golf courses in the United States. That experience gave him a broad perspective on golf course operations, ownership, investment, and long-term business strategy.
Throughout his career, Hoppenrath has focused on understanding the operational and financial needs of golf facilities and connecting customers with solutions that create measurable value.
