An exciting opportunity for families to play sports, learn and grow in a healthy environment at Stone Mountain Golf Club.
(Stone Mountain, GA.) – Stone Mountain Golf Club offers a Family Golf Tournament this summer, to create memories and develop bonds in a rewarding and affordable environment.
July 27th at 3:30pm, a 9-hole tournament offers adults and kids the opportunity to enjoy time outdoors while playing on Stone Mountain Golf Club’s, US Kids Golf approved, family friendly golf course for the low price of $50 per team, up to 4 players.
“July is family golf month and we wanted to encourage families, and mentors of kids, to join us on the course. Golf teaches life skills, promotes bonding, and opens new opportunities. By creating an accessible price and fun atmosphere to attract kids to our sport, we hope parents will spend an afternoon creating memories that last a lifetime with their kids this summer,” said Brian Oliver, Golf Pro and General Manager of Stone Mountain Golf Club.
The Stonemont course, one of two at Stone Mountain Golf Club, was recently designated a family friendly course by US Kid’s Golf. This enhancement offers a course that is adapted for learning and skillsets of all ages. “We wanted a course that was challenging but helped to grow the sport for those still learning, or a group with a wide array of skillsets,” said Oliver. “By working with US Kids Golf, we kept the course as it was originally intended and offered alternative resources that everyone could find welcoming to play.”
The upcoming tournament offers teams, with 2-4 players, participation for the low entry fee of $50. The 9-hole scramble includes a golf cart and prizes for the top placements in the tournament, while ensuring fun for everyone involved.
