STAMFORD, Conn. – The PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open from Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, Calif., and the DP World Tour’s Hero Dubai Desert Classic from Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, headline live golf coverage this week across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock.
PGA TOUR: FARMERS INSURANCE OPEN
The PGA TOUR heads to Torrey Pines this week for the Farmers Insurance Open, headlined by Jon Rahm, a two-time winner on this course, who is coming off of his second straight win to start the 2023 calendar year at The American Express. The field also features Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, Will Zalatoris, and Hideki Matsuyama. This is the second consecutive year that the tournament has begun on a Wednesday.
Live coverage begins tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock. Saturday final round coverage gets underway at 2:30 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock.

The field features current World No. 1 Rory McIlroy along with Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood. This is the 34th appearance of this tournament on the DP World Tour’s “Middle East swing.”

The final round of the Advocates PGA TOUR’s APGA Farmers Insurance Invitational will air on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. The first round will be played Saturday at the North Course at Torrey Pines at the same time that the final round of the PGA TOUR event is contested on the South Course. On Sunday, the APGA field will play on the South Course.

2023 PGA MERCHANDISE SHOW
GOLF Channel will have an on-site presence at the 2023 PGA Merchandise Show from the Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge and Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., beginning today through Friday, Jan. 27, with special reports during Golf Today. COLLEGE GOLF
Earlier today, NBC Sports announced its 2023 college golf programming schedule, with nearly 150 hours of live coverage this spring on GOLF Channel and Peacock. Starting next week with the Southwestern Invitational, NBC Sports is set to feature the NCAA Women’s and Men’s Championships, Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, and Western Intercollegiate this season. College Central will surround spring college golf and provide pre-round coverage leading into all events on GOLF Channel and a 30-minute preview special will air on the network today at 4:30 p.m. ET.
