Drawing on past experience, List launched a wedge past the flag, which then slowly spun back nearly making it into the cup leaving him with a no-doubter putt. Then in the dark of the night, Luke List raised the iconic Farmers Insurance Open trophy handcrafted by Malcolm DeMille. The realistic bronze cast and patina sculpture pays homage to the local terrain at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California, and features the endangered Torrey Pine sitting on the towering cliffs above the Pacific coastline.
