Joyous Annual Event Returns to Ireland’s Celebrated Waterville Golf Links
(DUBLIN, Ireland) – Carr Golf – Ireland, Scotland and England’s premier provider of unforgettable golf experiences – announces its annual World Invitational Father & Daughter Tournament will be held July 23 – 26, 2019 on County Kerry’s renowned Waterville Golf Links.
Next year marks the 12th anniversary for the event, which has played a significant role in introducing women to the game of golf in a friendly, all-inclusive environment. Participants will enjoy three rounds on Waterville Golf Links (ranked world No. 55 by Golf Digest), three nights’ accommodation, welcome reception, daily meals, tournament sponsors gift pack, shuttle transportation throughout, prizes and a gala dinner. Tournament entry starts from $5,999 per team.
This past July, Carr Golf hosted 34 father and daughter teams hailing from the U.S., Canada, Bermuda and Ireland. Playing out of New Jersey’s Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, Tim and Brittany Baxter won the 36-hole net event in the “Better Ball Stableford” format. Bill and Olivia McCloy of Maketewah Country Club (Ohio) won the gross division. To view photos from the 2018 tournament, click here.

“It’s been a joy to watch this tournament grow so significantly over the past 11 years as fathers and daughters play golf together on one of the special places to tee it up in the world,” says Marty Carr, executive chairman of Carr Golf. “This fun, jubilant event is also an ideal way to participate in the flourishing ‘#inviteHER’ social media campaign championing the participation of more and more women into this wonderful game.”
