FUTURE CHAMPIONS GOLF ANNOUNCES 600 PLAYERS ARE NOW REGISTERED FOR THE 17TH ANNUAL FCG CALLAWAY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SET FOR JULY 14–16, 2025 IN PALM DESERT, CA

Palm Desert, CA  — Future Champions Golf (FCG) is thrilled to announce the return of the prestigious FCG Callaway World Junior Golf Championship, now in its 17th year. Scheduled for July 14–16, 2025, the event will take place across 11 premier golf courses in the Palm Desert region, welcoming an expanded field of 850 elite junior golfers from over 50 countries. This championship continues to be a cornerstone in junior golf, providing a platform for young talents to showcase their skills on an international stage.

 

Global Talent Meets Championship-Caliber Courses

The 2025 championship will feature age divisions ranging from 7 to 18 years old, with each group competing on meticulously selected courses designed to challenge and inspire. Notable venues include Desert Willow Golf Resort (Firecliff), Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa, Indian Wells Resort, and Desert Falls Country Club. Each course offers a unique layout, ensuring a comprehensive test of skill for all participants. 

Pathway to Collegiate and Professional Success

The FCG Callaway World Championship is renowned for its role in the development of future golf stars. In 2024, the tournament attracted over 30 college golf coaches, providing invaluable exposure for aspiring collegiate athletes. Alumni of the FCG Tour include PGA and LPGA professionals such as Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and Ariya Jutanugarn, highlighting the championship’s significance as a launching pad for successful golf careers. 

Special Incentives and Opportunities

In a continued effort to provide exceptional opportunities, the Girls 15–18 division champion of the 2025 championship will earn an exemption into the Annika World All Pro Tour Event, offering a chance to compete among the world’s elite female golfers. 

Event Schedule and Highlights

  • July 9–11: FCG Callaway Collegiate Championship
  • July 12: Parent-Junior Championship
  • July 13: Mandatory Welcome Party
  • July 14–16: Main Championship Rounds
  • July 16: Awards Ceremony

The event will also feature a Welcome Party and an Awards Ceremony, fostering a sense of community and celebration among participants and their families. 

Registration and Qualification

Qualification for the championship is mandatory, with the qualifying period running from August 1, 2024, to May 30, 2025. Top finishers from the 2024 championship have earned exemptions, and additional qualifying events are being held globally, including new opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.
