Development Near Nashville Prepares for Fall 2026 Golf Course Openings
Spring Hill, Tenn. – Firefly, a new 700-acre luxury golf community located 30 minutes south of Nashville developed by Storied Development in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital, announces sales on the second phase of homesites will begin in early May following strong demand from the community’s initial release last summer, which saw more than 80 homesites sold in just 45 days. As Firefly prepares to open its golf courses, the Middle Tennessee development continues to gain momentum, with construction on its three primary golf club buildings scheduled to start within the next month and several key golf leadership hires now in place.
“As the golf courses near completion and gear up for a fall opening, we are eager to continue this forward progress leading into the second phase of homesite sales,” said Mark Enderle, Storied Development partner. “Buyers’ confidence is growing as they see tangible progress on the ground, and that’s reflected in the strong conversion our sales team is seeing from their property tours to actual homesite purchases.”
This fall, Firefly will open an 18-hole signature course and a 9-hole short course, both designed by renowned golf course architect Andrew Green. The newly released second phase of sales offers a limited collection of homesites, including coveted golf course frontage, tranquil creek side settings, and homesites surrounded by lush green space and connected trail networks.
Construction will soon begin on the Fieldhouse, Outpost and Golf Shop, all designed by Swaback, a well-known architecture, planning, and design firm. These three buildings will be the first built in a “village” of amenities at Firefly.

“The new facilities will anchor the community’s golf operations and support a best-in-class collection of amenities,” said Jeff Laliberte, Partner, Wheelock Street Capital. “These capital investments reflect Firefly’s commitment to combining championship golf with elevated member experiences.”
Strengthening its golf leadership team ahead of the fall 2026 opening, Firefly recently named Aaron Levinson Director of Golf to oversee course operations, programming and the overall member offering. Levinson brings with him a distinguished background with his most recent role as a PGA Head Golf Professional at Congressional Country Club. The second most recent hire, Ashley Hylton, has been appointed Head Golf Professional and will oversee player services, instruction and day‑to‑day golf operations. Hylton’s most recent role was at Spring Island Club in South Carolina as Head Golf Professional.
In addition to golf, Firefly will offer luxury amenities including a clubhouse, fitness center, family club, adult and family pools, a bowling alley, golf simulators, and a racquet club with tennis, padel and indoor pickleball courts. Current homesites range from $700,000 to over $2,000,000. Construction of homes at Firefly should start in 2027, and the community will have around 400 homes once complete.
