SARASOTA, FL – The Florida Association of Lefthanded Golfers (FALG), a division of the National Association of Lefthanded Golfers (NALG), will host its annual Florida State Lefthanded Golfers Tournament March 17 & 18 at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel.

“We’re thrilled to host our tournament at Saddlebrook this year,” said David Burzyck, Commissioner of the Florida Association of Lefthanded Golfers. “We always enjoy getting together with other lefthanded golfers for a few friendly and fun days of competition. This year, we’re fortunate to experience it all surrounded by the natural beauty that Saddlebrook provides.”

With 6 different divisions, hole-in-one prizes, and a $100,000 shootout opportunity, the FALG tournament offers excitement and camaraderie for all lefthanded golfers in Florida and nearby states.

The only requirement to register is that all golfers must play lefthanded. The tournament is individual gross stroke play over 36 holes within each of the six divisions.

Divisions include:
• Open (6300 +/- yds.)
• Senior (Age 55+) (5900 +/- yds.)
• Masters (Age 70+) (5400 +/- yds.)
• Grand Masters (Age 80+) (4800 +/- yds.)

• Juniors (Up to Age 19) (4800 +/- yds.)

The $245 per person entry fee includes greens and cart fees, range balls, and one raffle ticket for the $100,000 Shootout. Registration also includes an awards dinner on Tuesday, March 18 following the $100,000 Shootout. A $10 discount is given to all paid NALG members for this NALG sanctioned tournament.

Discounted hotel reservations are available at Saddlebrook Resort and a practice round can be played on Sunday, March 16, 2025 by contacting the Saddlebrook Pro Shop directly at (800) 729-8383.
