Pro Golf Weekly, New England Dot Golf to Surround FM Championship With Comprehensive Coverage

August 23, 2026

BOSTON, Massachusetts  – Pro Golf Weekly, http://www.progolfweekly.com, one of golf’s premier media brands, and New England dot Golf, http://www.newengland.golf, the “King of Golf Media” in New England, surrounds the LPGA Tour’s third edition of the FM Championship with comprehensive coverage from TPC Boston. Both digital publications will present complete online coverage of the FM Championship scheduled August 27-30 at historic TPC Boston, featuring a 144-player field, including all top 10 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, vying for a purse of $4.4 million, with the winner pocketing $615,000.

Since 2003, TPC Boston has hosted 17 PGA Tour events, including the Duetsche Bank Championship, Dell Technologies Championship and The Northern Trust. The 2024 FM Championship was the first professional women’s competition held on the course that was redesigned by Gil Hanse and Brad Faxon in 2007.

Pre-tournament coverage begins Wednesday, August 26 with Pro Golf Weekly’s signature Primer, and live onsite coverage of the LPGA Pro-Am, that includes 12-year old Skyler McInerney paired with LPGA star Amy Wang. Skyler McInerney is the youngest participant to tee it up in the Pro-Am. https://newengland.golf/skyler-mcinerneys-summer-to-remember/

Coverage of the tournament will include player stats, field analysis, featured holes, alongside interviews with LPGA stars including defending champion Miranda Wang, World No. 1 Nelly Korda, Massachusetts native Megan Khang, Lottie Woad, Jeena Thitikal, Alexa Pano and more. From Thursday’s first round and until the final putt drops on Sunday, coverage from TPC will be led by veteran writers Jeff Smith, Bill Doyle, Jim Hammond, photo journalist Pat Eastman, with executive editor Paul Daly managing a remote team of content producers.

“With the 2026 golf season in the home stretch, sports fans should enjoy following the top female players compete this week in the FM Championship,” said Publisher Thomas Gorman. “Both Pro Golf Weekly and New England dot Golf continue to grow their audiences through quality and interesting reporting and we are excited to deliver unparalleled coverage of the best female players competing over four days and 72 holes.”
