FOURTEEN GOLF PREVAILS at PGA BERMUDA CHAMPIONSHIP
Rising Star Uses Fourteen Golf Wedges to Win LPGA Qualifying School Event
IRVINE, California (November 4, 2019) – A PGA Tour veteran and an aspiring LPGA player won tournaments decisively Sunday with the help of Fourteen Golf wedges.
At the PGA Bermuda Championship, the winner used Fourteen Golf’s 60-degree RM-Wedge to help him post a 4-shot victory with a score of 24-under par with rounds of 68-63-67-62—300 at Port Royal Golf Club in Southampton on the island of Bermuda. The University of Georgia product earned $540,000 for his second PGA Tour win and moved to No. 17 on the Tour’s FedExCup rankings. He has played Fourteen Golf wedge products since he was in college.
The winner of the 2019 LPGA Qualifying Series used Fourteen Golf’s FH-Forged V1 wedges in lofts of 54 and 58 degrees enroute to her 3-shot victory in the eight-round, 144-hole tournament that was played over a two-week period at the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
The 20-year-old former USC golfer – whose quarter-million followers on social media have attracted the attention of the golf industry – earned her LPGA playing privileges for next season by shooting under par in all eight rounds and finishing at 21-under. Her rounds were 69-70-67-69-65-70-71-70—551 on Pinehurst’s No. 9 course.
