BOYLSTON, Mass. – The New England PGA and PGA REACH New England are excited to announce the Fourth Annual Birdies 2 Benefit (B2B) fundraiser is set to return on Monday, August 12th at Andover Country Club (Andover, Mass.). B2B supports the Child Life Services department of Boston Children’s Hospital and Local Athletes from Special Olympics-Massachusetts.
Last year’s fundraising initiative from PGA REACH New England was an overwhelming success providing over $200,000 to PGA REACH New England, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Special Olympics Massachusetts. Multiple NEPGA Professionals have already committed to this year’s 54-hole event, looking to make as many Birdies 2 Benefit as they can!
NEPGA Professionals will play 54 holes of golf in one day with the goal of making as many birdies as possible. Through each Professional’s personal and professional network, donors make a financial pledge per birdie to “support their pro” and help raise funds to benefit the three non-profit organizations.

“We are truly blown away by this effort every single year,” said Jess Brandi, Senior Officer, Special Events at Boston Children’s Hospital. “All of this funding supports our Child Life team. You are bringing so much joy to the hospital. That’s the whole motto for Child Life… to make sure children can celebrate their birthdays, the holidays… that they have joy in every day.”
In just three years, PGA REACH New England and the NEPGA have raised over $645,000 for the three non-profit organizations.
“We couldn’t do what we do without funding from partners like the New England PGA,” said Steve Huftalen, Executive Vice President of Development and Marketing, Special Olympics – MA. “It’s a real privilege to be associated with the New England PGA here in Massachusetts.
