The expanded partnership strengthens FCG’s established presence in Southeast Asia, introduces Campus college recruiting technology, and creates exciting new opportunities for Thailand’s junior golfers to compete on the world stage.
SAN DIEGO – Future Champions Golf (FCG), one of the world’s leading junior golf tournament organizations, is excited to announce the expansion of its ongoing international partnership with GPS Junior Tour in Thailand, further strengthening FCG’s rapidly growing global network of junior golf organizations.
Building upon an established relationship, the expanded partnership will provide talented junior golfers throughout Thailand with additional opportunities to qualify for two of FCG’s premier international championships in 2027, while also introducing innovative college golf recruiting technology through Campus.
Road to the 2027 FCG Callaway World Championship
Through the continued partnership, GPS Junior Tour will provide an official qualifying pathway to the 2027 FCG Callaway World Junior Golf Championship, held annually in Southern California.
Top finishers in the GPS Junior Tour’s spring 2027 Order of Merit standings will earn qualifying opportunities to compete in the prestigious international championship, which brings together outstanding junior golfers from around the world.
Rather than relying on a single qualifying tournament, the Order of Merit pathway will reward consistent performance throughout the season, giving junior golfers in Thailand an exciting goal to pursue.
The 2027 FCG Callaway World Championship is targeting a record field of 900 players representing more than 50 countries, continuing the championship’s remarkable international growth.
Thailand to Participate in the Inaugural FCG Global Games
The expanded partnership will also create a pathway for GPS Junior Tour players to qualify for the inaugural FCG Global Games, scheduled for late July 2027 at Industry Hills in the Los Angeles area.
This exciting new international team competition will bring together junior golfers representing their countries in a unique championship designed to celebrate national pride, international friendships, and the global junior golf community.
GPS Junior Tour will help identify and qualify players to represent Thailand, giving its junior golfers another extraordinary opportunity to compete internationally.
The FCG Global Games represents an important new chapter in Future Champions Golf’s mission to connect junior golfers worldwide through meaningful international competition.
Campus Technology to Connect Thailand’s Junior Golfers with U.S. College Coaches
Another exciting component of the expanded partnership is the introduction of Campus, the innovative college golf recruiting platform co-founded by FCG President Chris Smeal.
Through Campus, GPS Junior Tour players will have access to technology designed to help them build their recruiting profiles, showcase their golf accomplishments and videos, explore U.S. college golf opportunities, and connect with college coaches.
Campus provides a modern, video-first recruiting experience that helps junior golfers and families navigate the college recruiting process while giving college coaches access to talented players from around the world.
The platform will provide another valuable resource for junior golfers and families in Thailand who aspire to continue their education and competitive golf careers in the United States.
Strengthening an Established Partnership and Building a Truly Global Junior Golf Community
“We are incredibly excited to continue building upon our relationship with GPS Junior Tour and the junior golf community in Thailand,” said Chris Smeal, Founder and President of Future Champions Golf.
“Thailand has a tremendous junior golf community, and GPS Junior Tour has been an important part of our international network. As we continue expanding FCG globally, we want to create even more meaningful opportunities for players to compete internationally, represent their countries, and pursue their dreams of playing college golf in the United States. Between the FCG Callaway World Championship, the inaugural FCG Global Games, and Campus technology, this expanded partnership creates some incredible opportunities for junior golfers and their families in Thailand.”
The announcement continues a significant period of international expansion for Future Champions Golf, which is strengthening existing relationships and developing new qualifying pathways, partnerships, and championship opportunities across Asia, Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, and Australia.
With more than 250 tournaments and qualifying opportunities across its expanding global platform, FCG is committed to creating a connected junior golf ecosystem that goes beyond competition to include education, college recruiting, leadership, and lifelong relationships.
