Future Champions Golf Club Announces Academic Partnership With Laurel Springs School
The Future Champions Golf Club (FCG) is pleased to announce an official partnership with Laurel Springs School (LSS), a fully accredited private online school serving students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
“We have been looking for the right partner for quite some time and we’re excited to team up with Laurel Springs,” said Chris Smeal, founder and president of FCG. “Junior golfers with goals of playing at the highest level will now have the ability to devote more time to their athletic development through training and competition while receiving a great education.”
LSS has more than 15 years of experience partnering with sports academies, offering a learning model that allows students to complete coursework when it’s optimal for them. The school’s faculty and staff counsel student-athletes and families throughout the educational process, ensuring an individual’s academic plan and outcome best reflects their goals.
“We are excited to have formalized a partnership with the Future Champions Golf Club and are eager to establish long relationships with their families and their staff,” said Ken Scheuer, Director of Admissions of LSS. “This program has an established history of success and we look forward to assisting their talented student-athletes to achieve their academic objectives.”
LSS representatives will be on hand to discuss the school’s program at this year’s FCG Callaway World Championship, held at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on Sunday, July 14.
