G2 Academy student Hyo Joon Jang, continues to build on her 2020 resume after competing in the PING Invitational at Karston Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, OK. She has marked (7) wins and (3) top tens in this abbreviated year. Jang, the best junior female golfer in the country, recently broke within the top 200 players in the World Amateur Golf Rankings for the first time in her career and is poised to continue her climb in the rankings.
Jang already swings at speeds faster than the LPGA average which has allowed her to take advantage of the courses she has played. When asked about her potential G2 Director of Golf Dan Jackson stated, “Joon has much of the raw ability to perform, and is working to refine her training to compete at higher levels of competition. She has had a great year altogether and we are proud of her progress.”
When asked about the impact of having one of the top junior golfers in the nation at G2, owner Ray Travaglione shared, “Joon is a special talent who, like many, has come to the USA and G2 to become the best player she can be. It is a huge sacrifice to spend time away from family and friends and we are here to make sure she has the best resources to accomplish her goals.”
