Björk began the day a shot off the lead, but powered into the top spot with four birdies on the back nine, including two over the last four holes at the Topwin Golf & Country Club in Beijing.
In contrasting temperatures reaching 29ºC in China, Björk kept cool in a VENTIL8™ PLUS Mayer polo shirt and matching VENTIL8 PLUS Noah pants.
Björk’s stylish performance in the final round came after a tie for second at the UBS Hong Kong Open and third in last week’s Trophèe Hassan II event in Morocco.
“I felt confident almost all the way,” said the 27-year-old. “I’ve been striking the ball so well off the tee and also into the greens all week. It (the final round) was the best round of my life. It’s easy to play a round when the swing is there. I’m super happy!”
This was the second maiden European Tour title of the season for a Team Galvin Green player, following the victory of England’s Chris Paisley at the BMW South Africa Open Championship in January.
