Garrett Hall, Outreach Coordinator and Instructor at Keiser University Golf Coaching Center, shares his passion for golf and his journey in the sport.
Garrett, who transitioned to golf after a shoulder surgery ended his baseball career, emphasizes the joy and fulfillment he finds in teaching golf, particularly to high schoolers and juniors. He highlights the importance of students showing up eager to learn and in a good mood.
Reflecting on his own experiences, Garrett mentions the defining moment of passing the Player Ability Test (PAT), which affirmed his capability to teach golf. He shares his admiration for golf pros Scotty Scheffler and Kevin Kisner, noting Kisner’s remarkable moxie.
Garrett also recommends three golf courses that every enthusiast should play: Palm Beach Par 3 for its scenic beauty and accessibility to players of all skill levels, PGA National for its variety of courses, and Okah for its excellent condition throughout the year.
Garrett best advice to those learning golf: to simply have fun and enjoy the game.
