Each of the 10 Sub 70 putter models now has a custom option available to choose one the 3 main Garsen grips; the Quad Tour, the Max, and the Ultimate. Customers can select the best Garsen grip for them combined with their preferred Sub 70 putter.
The Garsen Quad Tour line features a unique trapezoid design fitting perfectly into most traditional golf grips. The Quad Tour also works great for claw and saw style putting grips. With a flat topline and bottom, players can easily square up the putter face with complete consistency every time. The shape turns your elbows into your body and sets your shoulders back. This relieves arm and shoulder tension, inhibits wrist action, and promotes shoulder rotation, creating a solid putting stroke.
The Garsen Ultimate is known for its versatility featuring 3 flat sides which is unlike most other putter grips. This allows the player to place their hands in a position so the palms face each other keeping the wrists more neutral. The Ultimate was developed with input from PGA Tour players.
The Garsen MAX grip features a substantial innovation in putter grip technology. By using a square grip with a 45% rotation, the “front” of the grip now becomes an angled area perfectly fitting the players’ grip and creating a much more biomechanically efficient position for the putting stroke. Unlike a traditional putter grip, the MAX places your hands in a position so the palms face each other and the wrists are in a neutral position. It turns your elbows into your body and sets your shoulders back.
