Medinah, Illinois – Golf professionals from across the region gathered at the historic Medinah Country Club on March 13 for a GBN Education Retreat, where they explored new perspectives on leadership and decision-making.
Led by GBN Advisory Board Members Col (R) Spencer Clouatre, PhD and Phil Owenby, the retreat encouraged attendees to rethink how they approach leadership and the decisions they make in their roles and personal life. Through a roundtable format, participants discussed real-world challenges, with Clouatre and Owenby guiding the conversation using the Six Economic Leader Principles. Thought-provoking questions led to open dialogue, allowing attendees to share insights on current industry topics and learn from one another.
Following the morning education, attendees shared a networking lunch and a private tour of Medinah Country Club, led by Director of Golf Casey Brozek. The retreat fostered a collaborative atmosphere where every participant was encouraged to engage, ask questions, and contribute to the discussion.
The event was made possible through the generous support of GBN Vendor Partners FLAGD and Tee Commerce. Tee Commerce provided attendees with a special gift, while FLAGD shared insight into an exciting new product they will be launching soon.
