GCSAA Outreach Grants

Fifteen local chapters receive outreach grants from GCSAA for communications efforts

Awards total $27,000 for local outreach, including media promotions and economic impact study

The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) has awarded 15 Chapter Outreach Grants totaling $27,000 to help affiliated chapters engage in outreach activities to key constituents on the local level, primarily golfers and employers.

Now in its 11th year, the Chapter Outreach Grant Program has helped fund initiatives such as local media buys, state golf days, informational videos, trade show booths and state economic impact studies.

“The Chapter Outreach Grant Program give our chapters assistance in spreading the message of the important work of superintendents and the many benefits golf brings to communities,” said Rhett Evans, chief executive officer for GCSAA. “Local efforts, combined with our national outreach initiatives, drive positive public perception of superintendents and the game of golf.”

  • Florida GCSA
  • Georgia GCSA
  • Metropolitan GCSA
  • Michigan GCSA
  • Mid-Atlantic Association of GCS
  • Minnesota GCSA
  • Nebraska GCSA
  • Philadelphia Association of GCS
  • Rocky Mountain GCSA
  • Sierra Nevada GCSA
  • Southern Nevada GCSA
  • Utah GCSA
