Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in growing their golf coaching business in 2023.
This workshop “Getting Started with Operation 36: From Hesitation to Acceleration” will feature special guest Kevin Landry, PGA Associate of Santa Maria Golf Course.
Kevin Landry had a successful career as a high school principal and educator for 30 years. He joined Operation 36 to have “something small” to do to keep him busy in retirement.
Little did he know, in less than a year, his “something small” would turn into a thriving golf program (on a public course). In fact, it would grow to the point where he needed to hire an assistant.
His excellent communication and coaching skills have been matched with the complete curriculum, structure and technology of Operation 36. The result has been a thriving program.
Golf professionals who are interested in growing their programs are invited to join us for this free workshop. It will be hosted online, on Monday, July 17th at 1:00 p.m. ET. This workshop is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.

About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
