Toronto, Canada – GGA Partners, an international consulting firm to leading private clubs, resorts, and residential communities, announced today that Jeff Germond, CCM, is joining the firm’s Executive Search practice as a Director, effective February 1, 2024.
In his role, Germond will use his more than three decades of experience leading notable clubs throughout Canada to locate, vet and place high-level culinary talent for clients across North America.
“The skills Jeff brings to our Executive Search practice will be of great benefit to our clients,” commented Managing Director and Partner, Michael Gregory. “His knowledge of the inner workings of all aspects of the culinary operations and mid-management positions of private clubs will ensure he can identify and deliver the highest quality candidates to our clients.”
Germond, who is currently the COO of Mississaugua Golf & Country Club in Toronto, Canada, began his career as an Executive Chef. He gained notoriety within the industry for his ability to build and foster high-performing teams while creating a culture of innovation. Those skills led to a career in senior management positions at notable clubs including St. Catharine’s Golf & Country Club, The National Golf Club of Canada, Hamilton Golf & Country Club, Markland Wood Golf Club, and the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club. Prior to joining GGA’s Executive Search practice, Jeff has been the COO at Mississaugua Golf & Country Club since 2016.
“I have had the opportunity to work with and witness the professionalism of the GGA team through the Club Management Association of Canada and while at Mississaugua,” stated Germond. “When it was time for me to make a career change, GGA was my first and only choice. We share the same core values – honor, honesty, learning and trust. Those values and their data-driven approach to finding candidates for the long-term success of the club are what made joining the firm the right choice for me.”
