CRESWELL, OR — Prior to switching to a L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 MAX putter, Lucas Glover hadn’t recorded a finish better than T36 on the PGA Tour in the 2022-2023 season. Since the switch, he’s earned four top-6 finishes on the PGA Tour capped off by his two-shot victory at the Wyndham Championship.
“It’s not a coincidence that a player with some very well documented struggles on the greens won with a L.A.B. Golf putter,” said L.A.B. Golf CEO Sam Hahn. “Our Lie Angle Balance technology allows great athletes to be great athletes and have full access to their talent, simply because they’re not having to deal with torque during their putting stroke. We have so much gratitude that Lucas chose our putter and that it allowed him to show the world, once again, how talented and gutsy he is.”
Over the last three PGA Tour seasons, Glover finished no better than 137th in the PGA Tour’s Strokes Gained: Putting statistics. In his four top-6 finishes this season, his putting statistics have been far superior.
He finished 15th in Strokes Gained: Putting in his win at the Wyndham Championship, 50th in SGP at the Barbasol Championship where he finished 5th, 16th in SGP at the John Deere Classic where he tied for 6th, and 5th in SGP at the Rocket Mortgage Classic where he tied for fourth.
“We are finally seeing validation that Lie Angle Balance has the potential to change putting forever,” Hahn added.
Including Glover, four players in the Wyndham Championship field used L.A.B. Golf putters and each of them finished in the top 7.
That includes Adam Scott (T7), who Glover used as a model for his putter specifications. Glover uses the same MEZZ.1 MAX putter head with the same length (45 inches) and lie angle (78 degrees).
