Golf Market Research Center: Charter Member Subscription Period Extended to 9/15!
We could be like all the other breathless marketers out there and say, “Due to overwhelming demand, we’re giving more people the opportunity to subscribe to GMRC by extending the deadline.” Instead, we’re going to tell it like it is and the fact is we’re extending the deadline because a high number of operators have responded by saying, “We’re too busy selling golf right now but we’re interested in it when things settle down after Labor Day.” We’re going to see that as glass half full that they now can’t possibly say they can’t afford it and we’ll just be here waiting until their self-appointed deadline arrives, which we’re going to call 9/15/21, to sign up.
Continuing to let our Charter Members do the talking regarding their uses and benefits, here’s one from a relatively obscure facility (ha, ha) in our hometown market of Chicago:
“The GMRC remains on the right side of the industry research equation. I love to see the trends and our output compared to others. I’ve found the RevpAR info to be essential, and particularly rely on the utilization data to help us forecast discounts. Plus, the ability to segment the data is very beneficial. I 100% trust these numbers and feel it’s certainly worth it for operators to be armed with critical data to make key decisions for their course.” Troy Newport, GM Cog Hill Golf & Country Club
Just because you now have more time to make up your mind doesn’t mean you should wait. Just this past weekend we sent out the July summary figures for the Charter Member portfolio as well as each of the 10 markets where we have 3+ participants so the folks “in the game” are right now making better-informed decisions vs. those choosing to wait. Continuing to show our sportsmanship, we’ll let you trial the tool for 14 days if you can find the time to put in your numbers which fuel the ’21, ’20 and ’19 comparative reports & graphs. Here’s how you “get in on the action” to learn more about becoming a GMRC Charter Member and using the information and insights to make your ’21 even better (rather than waiting for ’22 planning):
