GOLF CHANNEL ACADEMY ADDS SECOND DALLAS LOCATION TO NETWORK OF TOP TEACHING FACILITIES

 

 

ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 31, 2018) – Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities and world-class coaches operating with the active support of the Golf Channel, recently welcomed Jeff Isler Golf as its newest location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Located in the northwest suburb of Southlake—a 30-minute drive from downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth—Jeff Isler Golf joins The Plane Truth at The Courses at Watters Creek in Plano as GCA’s second Dallas-area l0cation and fifth in the Lone Star State. Other Texas cities with GCA locations include Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

Jeff Isler Golf offers students of all ages and ability levels customized coaching and improvement programs, including private lessons, group coaching and a Performance Academy for serious juniors. The climate-controlled, 13,000-square-foot indoor training facility features the most advanced technology in the industry, including TrackMan (Doppler radar launch monitors) and K-Vest (3D Motion Capture), providing students with very precise feedback. The facility also boasts three large instruction bays, a large chipping green and plenty of available putting space.

Jeff Isler Golf is the result of Isler’s efforts to create a comprehensive coaching and developmental process for junior golfers striving to compete at the highest levels.
A 2016 and ’17 Future Champions Golf Top 25 Elite Junior Coach, Isler has more than 15,000 hours of coaching experience and has trained some of the best golfers in the country, including nationally ranked juniors, top collegiate players and PGA Tour professionals.

A Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 2 Golf and Power Instructor and K-Vest Level 2 Certified Pro, Isler continues to work with other top instructors in the industry to ensure that Jeff Isler Golf stays on the forefront of the latest breakthroughs and advancements in the industry. He has also surrounded himself with one of the area’s top coaching staffs, including his daughter, Kaylin Skovron, and son, Matt Isler. Kaylin, an accomplished amateur who played for Texas Christian University’s women’s golf team, has been recognized as one of Golf Digest magazine’s “Best Young Teachers in America” under the age of 40. Matt, Director of the Athletics Academy, competed nationally against some of the best American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) players, including fellow Texan and three-time major champion Jordan Spieth.

Rounding out the team are fellow golf instructors Casey Barbee, Mike LaBella and Jarren Harper. Casey and Mike bring years of experience and significant value to the coaching staff and direct Isler’s Performance and Skills Academies.
