PGA TOUR LIVE featured groups will air on GOLF Channel Thursday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET, followed by traditional live tournament coverage from 2-6 p.m. ET.
Featuring live coverage of select marquee groups, the PGA TOUR LIVE window on Thursday will precede GOLF Channel’s traditional live tournament coverage to give viewers a glimpse at the video subscription platform available for purchase in the United States. In total, GOLF Channel will air eight continuous hours of tournament action of Thursday’s opening round.
Featured Groups being shown during Thursday’s PGA TOUR LIVE coverage on GOLF Channel include:
- Cameron Champ/Dustin Johnson/Bubba Watson (10:11 a.m. ET tee time)
- Phil Mickelson/Xander Schauffele/Jordan Spieth (10:22 a.m. ET tee time)
Friday’s early PGA TOUR LIVE coverage on NBC Sports Gold will include Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas (10:22 a.m. ET tee time) as one of two Featured Groups. The other group will be selected via Twitter’s “Fan Vote Friday” program.
PGA TOUR LIVE launched on NBC Sports Gold in January at the Desert Classic, kicking off nearly 900 hours of premium live tournament programming available to subscribers on NBC Sports Gold in 2019. Available on double the number of supported platforms versus 2018, PGA TOUR Live is available for purchase for $64.99/season. The 2019 season offers the most robust offering ever for the service, including:
